The Grandmother
of the Sea
The Grandmother of the Seas is inspired by a puppet we made with children around the Inuit myth of "Imap Ukua", a female figure "Imap Ukua", a female figure trapped in the depths of the ocean because of because of the waste left by humans.

The grandmother of the seas regularly visits the humans to tell them what is happening in the deep sea.

Sometimes she is accompanied by "rainbow fish" and other marine creatures, who invite passers-by to immerse themselves in a fascinating aquatic world.

For night performances, her dress is transformed into a backstage for short shadow theatre stories.
